StoriesIn short for me about Pukar process, I can say ”I got great exposure to varieties of shades of human minds” -
Pritesh Nandvilkar
Orientation workshop at kharghar throw a complete light on picture of Pukar. It included many interactive activities, presentations, group discussion, group activities, dramas etc. it was really nice. Vandana, Manoj, Kapil everyone were efficient & taking lots of efforts to make the workshop more & more joyful as well as informative.
When I attended 1st meeting with Pukar & the people who wants to work with Pukar, I was really really amazed. I mean there are so many issues and there are so many different different things we never have thought about.
Simultaneous discussion were going on; then I attended an orientation program at kharghar which made me more confused as I met other team catalysts and their different topics. That time I understood multidisciplinary approach and I got many friends too.
Days were going on & we covered lots of topics main & final topics were forest policies, role of media about nature conservation, forest department perspective about snake rescue etc.Neha & dhwani thrown a light on pollution, food conditions & coloring agents etc. Abhishek used to be very calm but came out with very big ideas. Ameya used to think a lot & also came out ideas at industrial level as he is from chemistry background. Khushboo & tejas rarely used to attend the meeting but mentioned about addiction, phobia, and ecotourism like topics. Different minds from different streams so in this way we used to discuss many topics. We didn’t even leave “project tiger”….!! We planned to do a survey on common perspective about common man towards tiger.
Likewise we were always being arguing, discussing a lot & sharing lots of things. Certainly we were really confused & finally we put all the topics in front of our co-coordinator from PUKAR i.e. Manoj Tank & confused him too. But in the meeting with Vandana,
she gave a hint to think on alternative eco friendly life style & that’s it!!!
Done!!! Our topic is decided…
WHY NOT ECO-FRIENDLY ALTERNATIVES???
With lots of fluctuations, tensions & joy I am working a lot, thinking a lot &
enjoying a lot too. I had a wonderful journey till now. And equally hoping of
interesting ahead. - Pritesh Nandvilkar
